Overview

Disengage: Focus 365 ("Disengage," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our iOS application.

Information We Collect

Data Stored On Your Device

Disengage stores all user data locally on your device. This includes:

  • Blocking plans and schedule configurations
  • Focus session history and statistics
  • App settings and preferences
  • Onboarding responses

This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers. We do not have access to this information.

Screen Time & Family Controls

Disengage uses Apple's Screen Time API (Family Controls framework) to block apps on your behalf. The app selection data (which apps you choose to block) is handled entirely by Apple's framework and is opaque to us. We cannot see, access, or transmit the names or identifiers of the apps you block.

Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics (Google) to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data such as screen views. This helps us understand which features are used most and improve the app experience. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics. You can learn more about Google's data practices at Google Privacy Policy.

Subscription Data

Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID to track entitlement status. No personal information (name, email, payment details) is shared with us or RevenueCat. Information We Do NOT Collect

  • Personal information (name, email, phone number)
  • Location data
  • Contacts, photos, or other device data
  • Browsing history
  • The names or identifiers of apps you block
  • User account credentials (we do not have user accounts)

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. The only third-party services integrated in the app are:

  • Firebase Analytics — anonymous screen view tracking
  • RevenueCat — anonymous subscription management
  • Apple StoreKit — in-app purchase processing

Data Retention

All locally stored data (plans, stats, settings) remains on your device until you delete the app or clear its data. Analytics data is retained according to Google's standard retention policies. Uninstalling the app removes all local data permanently.

Children's Privacy

Disengage is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The app uses Apple's Family Controls framework, which is designed for personal device management.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
