1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Disengage: Focus 365 ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Disengage is a screen time management application for iOS that helps users block distracting apps, set focus sessions, and track their progress. The App uses Apple's Screen Time API (Family Controls framework) to provide app blocking functionality.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. User Accounts

Disengage does not require user accounts. No registration, login, or personal information is needed to use the App. All data is stored locally on your device.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Disengage offers optional premium subscriptions (weekly, monthly, and annual plans) that unlock additional features. By subscribing:

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same rate.
  • You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings or through the App Store.
  • Free trial periods, if offered, will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends.

All payments are processed by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information.

6. Permitted Use

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose of personal screen time management. You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the App
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent any security features of the App

7. Screen Time Permissions

The App requires Screen Time (Family Controls) authorization to function. This permission can be revoked at any time through your device's Settings. Revoking this permission will disable the App's blocking functionality.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will block all targeted apps in all circumstances. App blocking functionality depends on Apple's Screen Time framework and may be affected by iOS updates or system changes.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
